These are a few of our favorite, teacher-approved, kid-loved TAPA activities!  These are things that make our students grin and that you can try at home with your families.  Sharing is caring so feel free to share your favorite activities with us as well!

Kitchen projects sound like a disaster but we love our TAPA Camp cooking classes!  Here’s a simple recipe that’s healthy and fun. We do it every year at camp and it’s so tempting a treat that even the volunteers ask to have one.
 Yummm
Supplies:
Bananas
Grapes
Strawberries
Raspberries
blueberries
chopsticks
butter knife

Have your child peel the banana and help wash the other fruit. When they are dry, your child can make Fruit Kabobs with their favorite fruits!  Bananas will need to be sliced into thick slices by an adult.
At TAPA, we focus on patterns as we use our fine motor skills to slide the fruit onto the chopsticks.  If you make several of these kabobs, you can place them in a vase with styrofoam to make your own “edible” floral pieces to share with friends and family.
