On a chilly weekend in March, Charles, an avid TAPA art student, had his art work featured in DownrightArt’s annual exhibition. The show was at Macari Vineyard in Mattituck, and at Long Island Aquarium. The organization celebrates World Down Syndrome Day and the spectacular individuals with Down Syndrome. The following excerpt is from the 2015 program. Congratulations to Charles for another amazing art show!

“For the past 14 years, Charles has been living with six friends in an ACDS group home. He has spent many years participating in the Special Olympics in track and swimming. He has a special love for animals and was in the Long Island Riding for the Handicapped program for 10 years.
